The Windsor Ct kitchen was originally planned as a modest surface refresh. Through the design process, the scope evolved — the owners recognized an opportunity to completely reimagine how the space functioned. Two walls were removed, one requiring a new steel beam to support the second floor, to open the kitchen into a bright, connected layout that draws natural light from both sides of the house. What had been a compartmentalized footprint became an open, efficiently designed space that works with the home's original architecture rather than against it.
