Homework Builders craftsmanship — residential remodeling detail in Northern Colorado
Est. 2021
Northern Colorado

Before Homework, Will Moore spent years in public education. Teaching shaped how he thinks about everything — planning ahead, communicating clearly, and holding yourself accountable to the people who trust you. When he transitioned into construction management, those instincts became the foundation for something bigger.

"Budgets are transparent, timelines are honored, job sites are organized, and every client feels informed and involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough."

In 2021, he founded Homework with a clear vision: build a remodeling company where the experience is as impressive as the finished product. A company built on transparency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way — every single time.

What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team that shares those same standards. Today, Homework serves homeowners across Fort Collins, Windsor, Timnath, Loveland, and Greeley — delivering premium remodeling built on the values that started it all: communication, craftsmanship, and genuine care for every home we touch.

THE TEAM

The people behind the work.

Will Moore

Owner / Project Lead

Will founded Homework in 2021 with a straightforward belief: remodeling should be built on communication, transparency, and craftsmanship — not just empty promises. A former educator turned construction manager, he brings a unique ability to plan thoroughly, communicate clearly, and solve problems before they become issues. He leads every project on-site, managing each detail personally from first consultation through final walkthrough. That hands-on commitment has built a reputation trusted by clients and subcontractors alike. When he’s not on a job site, he’s home with his wife and three daughters.

Matt Moeller

Matt Moeller

Project Manager

Matt has been with Homework since its inception, bringing a background that includes farm work, house flipping, and education — all of which shaped his approach to construction management. As Project Manager, he’s known for building strong relationships with clients and trade partners, communicating clearly under pressure, and catching the details that others miss. His years of finish carpentry experience give him an eye for precision that shows in every project he manages. Matt ensures every build stays collaborative, on schedule, and true to the standard Homework was built on.

What We Stand For

Five values. Zero exceptions.

01 —

Honest From the First Number

The first figure we share is a real target, not a teaser. Through pre-construction, that target becomes an exact budget — more precise as we go, never more expensive by surprise. We have lost commissions by refusing to open with a number we did not believe. We consider that the cost of being worth your trust.

02 —

Fewer Jobs, Full Attention

We accept a limited number of commissions at a time — by design. Craftsmanship does not survive a stretched-thin team, and our standard requires presence: on site daily, directing the trades, examining the work, resolving details while they are small. Your home is never one of a dozen.

03 —

We Do Our Homework

It is our name, and it is our discipline. Every project begins with pre-construction: scope, selections, schedule, and budget resolved in detail before a single tool is lifted. The most graceful place to solve a problem is on paper — so that is where we solve it.

04 —

Built for Year Twenty

Anyone can make a remodel photograph well on day one. We build for the day the warranty has long expired — when the seams still align, the finishes still look intentional, and the work behind your walls is still quietly doing its job. You will live here for decades. We build accordingly.

05 —

A Relationship, Not a Transaction

The final walkthrough concludes a project, not a relationship. Every Homework project is backed by a comprehensive two-year warranty on everything we build — and beyond the paperwork, we remain a phone call away for years to come. When you are ready for your home’s next chapter, we will already know where to begin.

Client Stories

Earned, not advertised.

"

Our goal was to open up a disjointed 1980s kitchen, sunroom, and dining area into one bright, modern space — and Will delivered exactly that. He provided a detailed budget and realistic schedule upfront, then managed the project flawlessly from start to finish. Daily checkpoints kept everything on track, change orders were handled promptly, and the team showed up on time and cleaned up every day. The project finished on schedule and on budget. Will and Matt are dedicated craftsmen who treat your home with the same care as their own — no shortcuts, just beautiful, do-it-right results. After several past remodels with other companies, we only wish we’d found them sooner. (Paraphrased for Length)
